Tommy Tiernan, one of the country’s favourite funnymen, took to Instagram to tease details of a new upcoming project last night. Sharing a photo of himself and two mystery companions, Tommy decided to keep their identities to himself thanks to some well-placed emojis – promising fans that all would be revealed this week.

As many hoped, beneath one of the cleverly chosen emojis sits none other than Hector O’hEochagain. Old school pals, the duo has teamed up with Mayo woman Laurita Blewitt for a brand-new podcast launching tomorrow.
Described as ‘unpredictable and funny, carefree and intimate’, it sounds like it will bring all of the usual banter you’d expect from the two. Along with pure conversation of the language loving storytelling variety.

Recorded in a hen house (no better place to house the madness, eh?) at the bottom of the garden in the West of Ireland, listening in will be like having a chat with your neighbour over a cuppa… and God knows how much we Irish love that.
