A Huge Amount Of Irish People Are Planning To Play ‘Toy Show’ Drinking Games Tonight

We all know that when ‘The Late Late Toy Show’ comes around, you’re better off gathering your mates around the telly and knocking back some beer or wine. 

Sure look, it’s what most other people will be doing. According to new research conducted by Four Star Pizza, a whopping 62% of Irish people have played a Toy Show drinking game in the past or plan to play one this year while 32% say that “it’s a wholesome tradition and won’t be drinking.” 

Tonight is said to be the busiest night of the year for takeaway food orders with 81% planning to get grub delivered to their door. You wouldn’t want to be stuck in the kitchen while all the craic is happening, after all. 

55% of respondents said they would be watching the Toy Show with their family while most of the 18-24 age group will be watching with friends or partners.

As for the nation’s favourite host, 46% want Gay Byrne back with 32% preferring Ryan Tubridy and only 22% being Pat Kenny people.
