Cillian Murphy Is At His Devilish Best In Tonight’s TV Thriller

Throughout his acting career, Cillian Murphy has displayed quite a talent for playing the villain. Take his role as The Scarecrow in the Batman Begins as a case in point. 

Tonight, we get to see the Corkman at his devilish best when 2005 thriller Red Eye airs on 3e. Murphy plays Jackson Rippner who charms Lisa Reisert (Rachel McAdams) at an airport before sitting beside her on a late-night flight to Miami. All is not as it seems as Rippner intends to use Lisa as part of an elaborate plot to assassinate a prominent member of U.S. Homeland Security. 

Red Eye has a 79% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes and received rave reviews from critics upon released. 

The Wes Craven-directed movie airs tonight at 9pm on 3e. Check out the trailer below.
