Is the head banging today? Is the thought of leaving the couch even to go down to the shop for a bottle of pop too much?

We feel you, so we’re trying our very best to set you up for the day on the couch from start to finish.

And in times like these, you need an Irish classic to get you over the line and lucky for you, there’s a brilliant one on television tonight.

And, it even briefly stars a young, college kid by the name of Ryan Tubridy.

If you haven’t seen this before or weren’t forced to learn it off by heart for the Leaving Cert, here’s a brief synopsis.

It’s set in the 1950s in Ireland and is based around the growing up experiences of three girls, Benny, Eve nad Nan.

It explores relationships, first time encounters with the opposite sex and…

Circle of Friends is on Bank Holiday Sunday at 22:05 on TV3.
