Darragh Berry

RTÉis reporting that Irish music legend turned television b&b guru, Daniel O’Donnell will make his acting debut at the start of May.

He is to star as a guest on the Irish-language soap Ros na Rún on TG4 on Thursday May 3, 8:30pm.

He is asked to sing at the opening of the new shop in the area, ‘Siopa XL’ and becomes extremely popular with the locals as Máire wants him to stay in her B&B and Tadhg invites him in for a drink in the famous pub.

Do D Main

O’Donnell is a big fan of the show and had great craic filming the whole thing.

“It’s an impressive production. Growing up in Kincasslagh in Donegal, Irish language was always an integral part of the fabric of the community, so it personally gives me a great sense of pride to work in our native language. “

“I’m looking forward to tuning in on Thursday night,” he finished and we’re looking forward to tuning in too, Daniel.
