In this day and age anyone can become a legend at the click of a button and that’s exactly what happened to Richy Sheehy earlier this week.
The Cork comedian went viral after posting a video of himself in the guise of character Kevin Murphy, AKA Cork’s biggest Liverpool FC fan.
The song is an ode to the stars of the Merseyside club, namely Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mané, Roberto Firmino and the recently-departed Philippe Coutinho. Borrowing the tune from Sugar, Sugar by The Archies, it’s certainly a catchy number and Richy got a chance to perform it on live TV this morning when he appeared on Soccer AM on Sky One.
The greatest Liverpool song of all time…LIVE IN THE STUDIO! #SalahDooDooDooDooDoDo ???? pic.twitter.com/5jtCB86ZNg

The performance struck a chord and there’ll be plenty of people wandering around today with the tune stuck in their head.
Kevin proved popular online and a former Liverpool star even showed his appreciation.
Oh No! 1 this is now in my head for the rest of the day. 2. This means it’s actually catching on

The fact that Kevin Murphy is actually a comedian surprises me typical cork person would come up with something like that fair play @RichySheehy ????????????

If Liverpool don’t sing the “Salah Mane Mane” song against Man City, they deserve to be relegated. Should play it instead of #YNWA imo#KevinMurphy ????????????
