Game of Thrones fans won’t have to wait too much longer for the final series to arrive on their screens.
HBO has finally put us all out of our misery by confirming the premiere date along with a trailer of sorts.
The final series of the hit show will be back in April 2019, though sadly the trailer doesn’t reveal what we can expect from it.

HBO had previously just said that the show would be back in “the first half” of 2019, so at least it’s a bit earlier than people might have expected.
The trailer was released with the hashtag #ForTheThrone and is filled with various characters’ highlights from past seasons of the show.
New trailer or not, April 2019 can’t come quick enough.
