The Gardaí Had Something To Say About One Part Of The Toy Show Last Night

James Fenton

The Toy Show has been and gone and as always social media was lit with gas comments and witty observations throughout the evening.

One account that rarely misses an opportunity to add its two cents to the craic is the one belonging to An Garda Síochána. Last night was no different as they took to Twitter to comment on little Cormac Kennedy who appeared on stage driving a miniature Garda car and wearing the recognisable uniform of our police force.

Cormac’s fleeting appearance didn’t go unnoticed by whoever was on social media duties at Garda HQ as a pic was posted of Ryan Tubridy taking a tumble along with the caption ‘Gardaì are currently at the scene of an incident at RTÉ. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.’

Take him away, lads. Among the lighter parts of The Toy Show was a piece that tugged at the heartstrings of all who were watching and you can catch up with that moment here.
