You can't beat an Irish pub for the craic so it's understandable that when visitors to our shores go at it, they go at it pretty hard.
One such guest was 24 and Stand By Me star Kiefer Sutherland who spoke to Ryan Tubridy this morning about an epic road trip he took back in the 90s. Starting off in Dublin before heading to Dingle, Galway and back through Limerick, Sutherland said that he and a friend made a mistake by "trying to stop and have a drink in every pub and I think very quickly we decided we'd stop in each town and have a drink and even that became a challenge."
A display of stamina even Jack Bauer would be proud of. Sutherland was speaking ahead of his gig at The Academy in Dublin on June 30. You can listen to the full interview here with the tale of Kiefer's legendary road trip starting around the 12 minute mark.
