When RTÉ announced its line-up of pundits for the 2018 World Cup, a few eyebrows were raised when the list included the name of former U.S.A international goalkeeper Hope Solo.

The 36-year-old has been in trouble with police in the past and when she failed to appear on our screens throughout the group stage, a few people wondered if RTÉ had had a change of heart.

It now seems that Hope will offer her views on the national broadcaster during Monday's much-anticipated round of 16 clash between Brazil and Mexico after RTÉ confirmed its line-up for the second round.

The42.ie has listed which pundits will be covering which games and Shay Given and Richie Sadlier will be first to line-up alongside the 2015 World Cup Winner.

Let's hope (sorry) they were saving the best until last.
