I’m A Celebrity finally came back on our screens over the weekend and the drama is well underway, with contestants already having to face their fair share of snakes, spiders and more creepy crawlies.

The ITV show has managed to bring in an impressive group of contestants this year, including former football manager Harry Redknapp and actor John Barrowman.

And it sounds like the show’s bosses have gone all-out to get the stars on board – it’s being reported that this year they’ve spent more money on contestant’s fees than they ever have before.

Here’s what each of them is reportedly being paid to go into the jungle…

Deal Or No Deal’s Noel Edmonds is said to be going into the camp as a late arrival with the highest fee of all, at a whopping £600,000.

Celebrity PR guru Ed Hopkins told The Sun that Harry Redknapp isn’t far behind Noel, coming in with the second highest fee at £500,000.

I’m A Celeb bosses have apparently wanted John Barrowman on the show for years, so he’s getting somewhere between £120,000 and £200,000.

Actress Emily Atack, who’s probably most famous for her role on The Inbetweeners, is apparently not getting paid as much as you might expect.

Ed explained, “Emily hasn’t got a huge amount to gain on the show unless she’s trying to rebrand herself – moving more from films and acting into being a celebrity.

“It could be as low as £15,000 but with her sex appeal and bubbly personality, she could have demanded a higher salary of around £40,000.”

Rita Simons, who famously played Roxy on Eastenders, is also up there as one of the highest paid at £80,000 to £100,000.

Coronation Street’s Sair Khan is apparently getting paid around £40,000 since she “isn’t a household name yet”.

Hollyoaks actor Malique Thompson-Dwyer was apparently booked “to pull in a younger audience and to give the campmates some eye candy”.

He’s getting paid nowhere near as much as the older campmates though – since this is his “big break”, he’ll only be getting around £15,000.

Former X Factor star Fleur East has openly talked about how much she wanted to go into the jungle in the past and is said to be getting paid £50,000 to £70,000.

DIY SOS star Nick Knowles is another one of the highest-paid campmates, getting £200,000 to take part.

The Vamps' James McVey has taken a break from his music to join and “will bring a young audience to the show”. He’s reportedly getting paid upwards of £40,000.

And finally, The Chase’s Anne Hegerty, also known as ‘The Governess’, is already a household name and is expected to be getting somewhere between £60,000 and £80,000.
