Ibrahim Halawa Will Have His First TV Interview This Friday

Ibrahim Halawa is set to appear on this Friday’s ‘The Late Late Show’ for his first TV interview since he arrived home.

The 21-year-old from Firhouse in Dublin will be chatting to Ryan Tubridy about his four year imprisonment in Egypt.

He was arrested in Cairo during mass protests in 2013 but after a long legal battle was released from prison last month.

Ibrahim took to Facebook to confirm the news that he will appear on the RTÉ chat show.

This week’s episode will also feature a pre-recorded interview with Conor McGregor and will air this Friday on RTÉ 1 at 9.35pm.
