Irish ‘Dunkirk’ Star Given A Prestigious Hollywood Honour

James Fenton

Since first appearing on the small screen as the infamous cat killer in Love/Hate, Barry Keoghan has certainly gone on to bigger and better things.

Now appearing in cinemas as part of all-star cast in Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster Dunkirk, more and more people in the film industry are starting to sit up and take notice of the 24-year-old.

Among all the big names starring in Dunkirk, it’s not easy for a young actor to stand out but Keoghan does just that with memorable performance.

The Dubliner has now been recognised by Variety magazine as one of their ’10 Actors To Watch For 2017′.

The publication writes:

“Now on screens in “Dunkirk,” Keoghan will be seen terrorizing Colin Farrell and Nicole Kidman this Fall in “The Killing of a Sacred Deer.”

We look forward to seeing Keoghan alongside Farrell. Check out the full list here.
