Late Late Show Viewers Weren’t Impressed With ‘Distasteful’ Photo Shared in Last Night’s Show

A photo of the moment the Irish footballer suffered a serious leg break was featured in the segment about a photography competition, with Ryan jokingly exclaiming "Bend it like Beckham".
One Twitter user wrote: "Shocking and distasteful of The Late Late Show to celebrate the photo of Seamus Coleman horror tackle last year! Best wishes to him resurrecting his career!"
Another added:

Another viewer commented: "Ah now, having Seamus Coleman’s leg break as an 'award winning' picture is taking the mick, the poor fella".
The Republic of Ireland captain underwent surgery on a fractured right tibia and fibula he suffered in a World Cup qualifier back in March and made his Everton return just last month.
