There’s nothing like a few compliments to put a smile on someone’s face. Even if you’re having a bit of a mare, if someone comes along but says “you’re doing great”, it’s enough to put a spring in your step for the rest of the day.
We imagine that’s how Millie Bobby Brown, AKA Eleven from hit Netflix show Stranger Things, is feeling right now after Niall Horan gave her a ringing endorsement for her outstanding performance in the series.
The Mullingar man took to Twitter to announce he’d finished both series of the sci-fi programme and was hugely impressed with what he seen, stating: ‘Finished Stranger things this evening. Never thought I would be this obsessed by a show’.

Of course, given that Niall has over 38 million followers on the platform, it wasn’t long before the young stars of the show caught wind of his words.
Millie hit him up with a tweet saying she was so glad he liked it, accompanied by love heart emoji.
Niall then went personal with his admiration, praising Millie for her role as the psychokinetic young girl who has largely become the main Stranger Things breakout character…

This was enough to make the 13-year-old blush…
Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin, was less impressed, jokingly asking Niall what took him so long…

The One Directioner has certainly changed his tune since this salty tweet a few months back…

Glad you’ve finally caught up with the rest of the world, Niall.
