RTÉ Is Looking For Couples To Take Part In Their New Wedding Planning Show

Kiara Keane

Planning a wedding at the moment? This could be your chance to have a whole lot of weight lifted off your shoulders because RTÉ is looking for couples to take part in their new wedding show.

My Big Day: Home And Away will see top-class wedding planners Tara Fay and Bruce Russell organise two separate weddings that fits the couple’s budget and brief.

One wedding will be planned for Ireland, while the other will be somewhere abroad and the couples will then decide which one they would prefer to have as their big day.

The application form explains, ‘One planner plans a wedding in Ireland and the other plans a wedding abroad.

‘The couple fully briefs Tara and Bruce about what they would like for their wedding, including their budget, number of guests, locations they would like.

‘Tara and Bruce do their research and then take the couple to each location, one at home and the other somewhere foreign.

‘The couple will choose one of the plans and the show ends with their wedding, either at home or away.’

Couples will have to pay for the wedding of their choice themselves, although the wedding planners’ services are free of charge.

If you make the short list, you’ll need to apply for your wedding licence immediately as it takes three months for it to come through.

If this sounds like your dream scenario, you can find more information and apply online here.
