Amazing Love Flick Starring Domhnall Gleeson Will Have You Bawling At The Telly This Evening

There’s a comedy on as the Big Big Movie for RTÉ tonight but we’re not in the mood for laughing, oh no.

‘The Intern’ starring Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway just won’t cut it for us tonight.

It’s nearly September, the kids are back to school which means it takes the bus 100 hours more to actually go through its route and we know that the long nights are closing in on us.

So, excuse us if we want to have a little cry for ourselves today.

And there’s no better movie for an auld weep than ‘About Time’ which stars our very own Domhnall Gleeson as well as queen of the tearjerkers, Rachel McAdams.

Domhnall’s character has the ability to travel through time and uses his superpower to find the woman of his dreams. He wins her heart by using the time-travel ability but his plan doesn’t always go as smoothly as he wants it to.

We know we said we wanted a cry but this will actually have you in convulsions of tears for the duration of the movie.

It’s so good that it has an average rating of 93% with Entertainment.ie giving it 5/5 when it was released in 2013.

It’s on Film 4 this evening at 6:40... on second thoughts we better watch the Big Big Movie to balance the emotions out.
