Disney has enjoyed massive success with their live-action remakes in the last few years, with Beauty and the Beast starring Emma Watson the most recent box office hit.
Now, it looks like they're going to blow that out of the water, as the cast for the live-action remake of The Lion King has just been announced and it. is. STELLAR.
Beyoncé will voice the part of Nala, confirming the news herself in a Facebook post which also unveiled the rest of the cast.
The star-studded voice cast also includes Donald Glover as Simba, James Earl Jones as Mufasa (reprising his role from the 1994 original), Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, Alfre Woodard as Simba’s mother Sarabi, John Oliver as Zazu, John Kani as Rafiki, Florence Kasumba as Shenzi, Eric André as Azizi, and Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen as Timon and Pumbaa.
