The Makers Of Ireland’s Answer To ‘Jurassic Park’ Need Your Help

James Fenton

If you’re a fan of ‘Jaws’ or ‘Jurassic Park’ now’s your opportunity to help Irish filmmakers produce our own answer to Steven Spielberg’s classic movies.

Red Rag, a short film written and directed by Brian Folan, is the works and it needs your help. It’s about Ruth, a domestic abuse victim who wants to save her diabetic son from her abusive husband.

The thing is, in order to produce a scene which is described as “lower scale homage to the t-rex jeep attack in Jurassic Park” in which the bull attacks a car with people trapped inside, the makers need to produce an animatronic bull head for visual effects.

If it’s in any way as tense as that famous JP scene then we’re in for a treat…

PIO Media have set up a Fundit page for contributors to help out. If you’d like to do your bit for the Irish film industry, click here.
