It’s fair to say that Matthew McConaughey’s career has had a few peaks and troughs.
While it may have looked as if we had lost him to rom-com drivel at one point (Fool’s Gold, anyone?), the McConaissance saw a return to form that included The Lincoln Lawyer and True Detective.
But the jewel in the crown was his turn as Ron Woodruff in Dallas Buyers Club, a role that won him the Best Actor Oscar in 2014, and the brilliant movie has now finally made its way to Netflix.
It’s one of a whole slate of new movies and documentaries that have arrived on Netflix for April, with Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom, Marvel’s The Defenders and The Beach now available to Irish viewers.
Just in time for the return of our dreary weather!
