This Emotional New Ad For Sudocrem Will Genuinely Having You Bawling

Lads we hope you’ve got your hankies and waterproof mascara on, because the latest ad by Irish brand Sudocrem (a.k.a the saving grace of our skin), is a reaaaal tearjerker.

The video, which was filmed in Dublin, highlights the reality of being a mum, and aims to kick-start an important conversation around motherhood in Ireland today.

Their survey found that today’s mothers are generally happy and satisfied with their role as mothers and a majority say they have a good work-life balance.

However, today’s mothers also face challenges, many societal, which although changing are not fully overcome. Many mothers feel they are not valued in their role, lack self-confidence and struggle with work-life balance. 

The short film tells this story in an honest, relatable and realistic way.

What is it about emotional mom-baby shots that just make us weep? I wanna run home and give my mam the biggest hug ever after watching this.
