The one and only Mattress Mick will be taking over our screens tonight at 10.15pm, as the documentary Mattress Men is scheduled to be shown on RTE One.
Known to all Dubs nowadays as a real legend, getting a selfie with Mattress Mick has become the thing to do for the guys and gals of the city.
But do you know the real story behind Mattress Mick?
Mattress Men was a 2017 IFTA award winning documentary, which seriously impressed when it was first screened last year.
“In an attempt to save his struggling mattress business, sixty-something Michael Flynn reinvents himself as the eccentric online personality ‘Mattress Mick’ under the guidance of his good friend Paul Kelly.
“Paul, burdened with debts and living with his family in inner city Dublin, yearns for a full-time contract.
“Using all his marketing savvy and entrepreneurial skills, Paul embarks on a mission to make Mattress Mick a viral sensation. Will he be successful in his endeavours?
