TV3 Has Launched A New Dedicated Sport Channel

As if Irish sport fans weren't enough in their element with a whole month of World Cup action to enjoy, to add to their glee TV3 have today announced the launch of a dedicated sport channel as part of a massive rebrand.

The channel is changing the names of TV3, 3e and be3 to Virgin Media One, ‘Virgin Media Two’ and ‘Virgin Media Three' and has also added 'Virgin Media Sport' to its package.

Among the live sport set to air on the channel are Six Nations rugby matches, UEFA Champions League and Europa League. As well as this, it was confirmed that Ireland's Got Talent will be back for a second series, a new drama called Blood will be introduced while Claire Brock is set to anchor a new 8pm news slot.

Exciting news all round. Who said TV was dead?
