It looks like the new comedy film that’s reunited Stepbrothers stars Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly has not lived up to people’s expectations.

Holmes & Watson premiered on Christmas Day without being screened in advance for critics and has since received a rating of 0% on Rotten tomatoes.

People on Twitter did not hold back when it came to saying what they thought of it either – some even claimed it was the 'worst film they'd ever seen' and that they walked out of the cinema.

The film, which is a parody of the famous Arthur Conan Doyle story, also stars the likes of Rebecca Hall, Hugh Laurie and Ralph Fiennes.

Only two other films have received a 0% Rotten Tomatoes score in 2018 – John Travolta’s Gotti, which tells the story of the infamous mobster John Gotti, and London Fields, starring Amber Heard.
