Cancel Everything – President Higgins Will Be Appearing On The Late Late Show Tonight

Does the man ever rest?

Ryan Tubridy will be rolling out the Presidential carpet this evening as Michael D. Higgins drops in for a chat on the Late Late sofa.

Higgins is due to reflect on the 1916 celebrations around the country as well as speak about whether or not he will run for a second term as President.

Higgins will surely be keen to meet Paralympic bronze medalist swimmer Ellen Keane who will be chatting to Ryan about her exploits in Rio. 

With John Connors of Love/Hate fame and Stefanie Preissner, writer of new RTÉ comedy Can’t Cope Won’t Cope also set to appear as well, it may well be the best episode of the series so far. 

Slippers, check. Kettle, check.
