Louis Theroux Announces Three New Documentaries

James Fenton

We’re big fans of Louis Theroux documentaries here at Lovin.

Everything from The Most Hated Family in America in which the filmmaker expolred the everyday lives of the despised members of the Westboro Baptist Church to By Reason Of Insanity which documented life inside a psychiatric hospital in Ohio.

Which means we were delighted to hear that Louis has announced not one, not two but THREE new documentaries for us to get stuck into in the near future.

Among the three is Murder in Milwaukee in which Theroux will spend time in one of the most impoverished cities in the US during a period of heightened tensions between police and the African-American community, following two high-profile police shootings.

As well as that, Sex Trafficking Houston will explore the sex industry in one of the largest hubs for hunan trafficking in America.

Finally, Opiate City investigates the world of prescription painkillers and the issue of oversubscription leading to addiction.

Exact broadcast dates for the documentaries are yet to be confirmed but we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
