One genre that maybe never gets a look in when you're endlessly scrolling through Netflix offerings might be documentaries. And I'm here to tell you that you have been missing out! 

I have been moved, entertained, shocked, upset and educated by documentaries throughout the years - and I didn't have to do much more than veg on my couch and listen.

My Beautiful Broken Brain (2014)

This documentary follow 34 year old Lotje Sodderland's voyage into the complexity, fragility and wonder of her own brain following a life changing hemorrhagic stroke. A truly amazing watch!

Twinsters (2015)

Adopted from South Korea, raised on different countries and connected through social media, Samantha & Anaïs believe that they are twin sisters separated at birth. Twinsters is cute, well-done and emotional at times!

She's Beautiful When She's Angry (2014)

The Hunting Ground (2015)
