This Cult 90’s TV Show Is Getting Its Very Own Festival In Belfast Next Month

Sarah

Cult 1990’s show Twin Peaks is getting its own festival and you NEED to check it out before the new series is fiiiinaaally released later this year after a long 25 years.

The addictive crime drama mixed with healthy doses of the surreal is about FBI Agent Dale Cooper, who travels to the small logging town of Twin Peaks to solve the murder of seemingly innocent high schooler Laura Palmer.

Almost nothing is as it seems, however, and the show’s sometimes eerie visuals, oddball characters and wild dream sequences drive the point home.

Twin Peaks Fest Belfast will take place at The National from May 20-21 and is a must-go for any television fan worth their weight in salty popcorn.

The festival event page promises screenings, fancy dress, a ‘Miss Twin Peaks Pageant’, a Lynchian music night, prizes and more surprises to be announced.
