This Week’s Late Late Sounds Like Unbelievable Craic

James Fenton

This weeks Late Late Show is set to be a monumental episode that people will talk about for years to come.

If they’re into the Eurovision that is.

This week, Tubs will be hosting a special dedicated to the continent’s (and Australia’s) favourite song contest and to be fair, some absolute Eurovision royalty will be appearing.

Two-time winner Johnny Logan will be on to chat with Ryan about his career in music and the prospects of Ireland’s 2017 Eurovision entry Brendan Murray.

The show will also feature the likes of Eurovision god Marty Whelan, country star Cliona Hagan, Eurovision superfan Mairead Ronan, Crystal Swing’s Derek Burke, Eurovision winner Paul Harrington and Moone Boy’s Rónán Johnston will all come up against each other in the friendly Eurovision competition of their own.

(note to self: stop saying ‘Eurovision’)

In non-Eurovision news Bernard O’Toole of Bridget & Eamon fame will be on the sofa as well as horse trainer Jessica Harrington who will talk about all her recent success.

The Late Late Show airs tomorrow on RTÉ 1 at 9.35pm.
