Billie Eilish has joined the ranks of a long list of other Bond girls…ish.
The new theme song for the James Bond movie was released this morning. Sang by Billie Eilish, the song shares its name with the movie.
Entitled No Time To Die it joins the ranks of an extensive list of other Bond songs – with previous singers tasked with the job including the likes of Adele, Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones and Sir Paul McCartney.
At just 18-years-old, Billie is the youngest artist to ever write and record a James Bond theme song. Fresh off an impressive win at the Grammys, the US singer shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
A seamless blend of both 007 and Billie’s own signature style, No Time To Die is very Bond-esque.
Fans of both the movie franchise and of Billie herself have been reacting to the tune online, with many already ranking it as being one of the best… proving any sceptics who doubted her abilities wrong.
100% thought I was going to be disappointed since she was competing with @samsmith and Adele but DAMN @billieeilish YOU DONE PROVED ME WRONG GURRRL. Another one added to the favs, am obsessed. James Bond coming at us with a strong tune aGaiN <3https://t.co/V1SFCwOmNu

I knew Billie Eilish could belt, I knew she had it in her but I NEVER knew I needed to hear it actually happen in a song. No Time to Die is just chefs kiss

Set for release in April of this year, the new Bond movie No Time To Die will see Daniel Craig step into the shoes of James Bond for the fifth time. Marking his last time in the role, it’s sure to be a good one.
