The First Trailer For Michael Fassbender's 'Assassin's Creed' Has Just Landed

"At 6pm yesterday evening, you were executed and pronounced dead. You no longer exist"

The first trailer from video game adaptation Assassin's Creed has just arrived and it looks fantastic.

The story follows Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender), a death row innate who wakes up in a high-tech facility after being supposedly executed. There he's is hooked up to the Animus, a machine which allows him to experience the memories of his assassin ancestor, a killer who lived during the Spanish Inquisition...

Video games stories never seem to work in film adaptations, but with a stellar cast including Fassbender, Marion Cotillard and Jeremy Irons, as well as some spectacular action, this could be a winner.
