Right before the Irish men’s hockey team took on Germany in Rio yesterday, a power failure forced them to sing our national anthem without the help of music. The result was all a bit silly.

The more honest among us will admit that we all struggle a bit 'Amhrán na bhFiann', mumblings entire lines when it comes time to sing, so imagine having to go on television and sing that anthem without even the support of a backing track?
