Christmas is less than two weeks away, and many of us will have already put up and decorated our trees.
For one Cork grandmother, yesterday was decorating day - but there was just a slight problem.
What she had thought were pretty purple baubles from Dunnes Stores were actually glittery G-strings in a plastic shell.
The hilarious mix-up was discovered by her granddaughter Alex, who had stopped by to help out.
She shared the pictures and story on Twitter and has already racked up thousands of likes.
My 74 year old grandmother bought Christmas baubles in Dunnes Stores, which I have just realised upon decorating her tree that unbeknownst to her upon purchase, they are in fact, lavender glitter G-strings.

When she showed her granny what she had accidentally bought, she replied: "Jesus Al yer man in the shop must have thought I was very kinky sure I bought six of them."
Absolutely classic.
