PIC: People Are Saying Online That This Famous Figure Is The Spit Of Father Jack

The legendary Frank Kelly gave us some fantastic one-liners on Father Ted over the duration of the three seasons.

The actor, who sadly passed away in 2016, played the grumpy, drink-loving Father Jack Hackett who spent countless hours glued to that famous armchair in the corner of the parochial house on Craggy Island.

He didn’t open his mouth much but when he did, he produced moments of pure comedic magic and that’s leaving his iconic catchphrases ‘feck, arse and drink’ out of it.

Sure, Irish people still say “that would be an ecumenical matter” when they have to answer something that they have no clue about.

It’s been two decades since Father Jack judged that wet t-shirt competition (we really hope he finally got off that “fecking island”) but people online have just come across a famous figure who they believe to be his twin.

It’s not Bob Geldof, but rather the former Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams.

So many people replied to the photo saying ‘Yes’ but we’re not so sure if he’s the spit of Father Jack.

He would have definitely fitted in well in Jurassic Park, we mean, St. Clabbert’s Hospital but would he have been able to survive a severe dosage of dreamy-sleepy-nighty-snoozy-snooze? We doubt it.
