PIC: Everyone Online Is Talking About These Two Shneaky Irish Number Plates

Something doesn't look right here...

Irish Plates Twitter

Prime Time Programme reporter, Richard Downes, spotted this and it will make everyone do a double take.

Both cars are Hyundai, one is black and one is silver and they both have the same number plate:

People were tagging the Gardaí Twitter account under the photo stating that the matter needed to be checked out properly.

A quick search on Motorcheck gave details of the car and stated that black one was the real one.

One person said that it was "definitely photoshop, or a bad fake plate. The county written in Irish above the two letters is a different length on each plate."

What do you think of the plates? Or is there a reasonable explanation for it?
