John C Reilly and Steve Coogan were on The Late Late Show last night to talk about their new Laurel and Hardy biopic, Stan & Ollie.
John has made no secret of his love for Ireland and he revealed during last night’s show that he finally got the Irish passport he’s been trying to get for quite some time now.
He proudly showed it off to the audience, telling everyone, “I’ve got great news, Ryan, to announce on The Late Late Show, I’ve been given a passport to Ireland.”
Steve Coogan was quick to point out that the passport that had a giant map of Ireland on it was most definitely not the real deal.

He grabbed it off John, telling the audience it was, in fact, “A Wild Atlantic Way passport, which is a marketing device.”
But John insisted he’s still happy he got it and is serious about getting dual citizenship.
He explained, “It’s a beautiful place and every time I come here, things just seem to go well for me.”
