Taylor Swift reigns supreme as Ireland’s most listened to artist according to Spotify Wrapped

Katy Thornton

She’s got us in a chokehold, what can we say?

Time to dust off your Instagram stories, folks – Spotify Wrapped has landed once again, and it’s revealed some interesting results in terms of our little country’s listening habits.

The most anticipated result of Spotify Wrapped is always everyone’s most-streamed artist. Guilty pleasure or not, it always says a lot about someone.

It may come as no surprise that the most-streamed artist in the country is none-other than Taylor Swift herself. It’s been one hell of a year for the popstar – releasing her hugely popular re-releases of her albums ‘Speak Now’ and ‘1989’, as well as her record-shattering Eras Tour dominating cinemas around the world.

Following top spot comes Drake at #2, with The Weeknd (#3), Kanye West (#4) and Ed Sheeran (#5) making up the rest of the list.
