RebeccaL

Book lovers will really enjoy this one.

A hilarious hashtag swept over Twitter this morning and saw Irish people using their full creative faculties to desecrate centuries of top-notch Irish writing.

Using the hashtag #RuinAnIrishBookInOneLetter, twitter users attempted to alter famous literary titles with just a single character change.

And it yielded brilliant results.

Angela’s Ashes

This probably isn’t what Frank McCourt had in mind for his popular memoire, published in 1996, though it certainly piques your interest.

The Book Of Kells

It seems as though the Book of Kells has been infused with some Fifty Shades.

The Book of Evidence

Coronation Street fans will like this one. John Banville’s The Book of Evidence was given a TV twist with the addition of Dev Alahan, one of Corrie’s most long-standing characters.

How Many Miles To Babylon

Yuck.

Malone Dies

What would Samuel Beckett make of this?

P.S I Love You

This one really hits home for us. I mean, who didn’t love a good Yop back in the primary school days?

A Girl Is A Half-Formed Thing

To everyone who put their brains to the test this morning and came up with these genius titles, take a bow.
