WATCH: Winners Hotel Fills With Water As Embarrassing Leak Ruins Dublin GAA Interview

Jack McCaffrey was all the talk in 2017 when his hotel antics took over the whole of The Sunday Game.

He was enjoying a well-deserved with a few cold ones after the win and rightly so and this year he was involved in another huge talking point at the winner’s hotel – but this time it wasn’t about what he did.

Michael Lyster was presenting the Dublin half-back with his man of the match award – a great decision as McCaffrey ran his socks off in the final – and while he was talking to the presenter, a leak which had been giving the hotel trouble all day finally gave in…

Michael Lyster was cool and collected, the whole roof could have caved in and he would have probably tried to continue the interview with the man of the match.

And in fairness to Jack, he didn’t get too much of a scare either as he turned around and watched on as the water trickled down off the roof.

The fact that Lyster and McCaffrey held their handshake through the whole thing is possibly our favourite part of the whole thing.
