A video showing Daniel and Majella O’Donnell trying to start a live stream has been shared online and it’s too good to keep to ourselves.
Most of us are well adjusted to that WFH (working from home, don’t ya know?) life by now, but that’s not to say we don’t struggle with technology. It’s a regular occurrence, at least in my house anyway. Between making sure your microphone is working to trying to ensure the camera misses the mound of laundry on the floor behind you, navigating the tightrope of video communication is a delicate art – one that Daniel O’Donnell doesn’t seem to have mastered just yet… don’t worry, we’re right there with ya Danny boy.
Struggling to start an online live stream, Daniel can be heard asking “Are we on the…? Can you hear us?”, before adding “I don’t see any messages coming up or anything”. Trying to help matters along, Majella then comes into the frame, following instructions from someone called Trish who attempts to guide them through the process.
Between the phone ringing (or is that the doorbell?) and the two almost losing the plot at each other, it’s an entertaining watch, to say the least. Poor Daniel and Majella – having an absolute mare so they are.

Gives me flashbacks of preparing for my first J1 Skype interview and the sheer mayhem that preceded me answering the call… internet went halfway through and I had to run up to the neighbour’s house to finish the interview.
The struggle is real.
