Limerick teens Nessa and Cathal blew the judges away on The Voice Kids last night with their rendition of I Will Wait by Mumford & Sons.
The pair appeared in front of The Voice Kids judges Will.i.am, Paloma Faith, Pixie Lott and Danny Jones from McFly and with proud family members watching on backstage, they succeeded in their aim of getting one of the judges’ chairs spinning.
It was Danny who was mostly impressed by Nessa (14) and her brother Cathal (13) as he turned around, saying that the performance reminded him of when he used to sing with his own sister.
Paloma added that their harmony was ‘perfect”, and if you listen closely, you can definitely hear a Limerick accent from young Cathal during the chorus.
