The last Late Late Show before Christmas is set to be an emotional one as the chat show pays tribute to legendary Dublin comedian Brendan Grace.
Brendan's death at the age 68 had the nation mourning back in July, with countless tributes and memories posted online as the news came through. Five months later, we'll get the chance to reflect on his contribution to Irish life again as RTÉ brings us a night in his honour.
Taking to Instagram today, the Late Late Show posted an adorable clip of Brendan Grace and his grandson James and it, we see the former being uncharacteristically outshone by his younger companion...
It's definitely in the genes.
Back in October, Brendan was the subject of a three-part documentary called Brendan Grace - Thanks For The Memories which highlighted his stellar work the Forget Me Not community choir. The series featured contributions from a number of family and friends and tomorrow night is expected to be no different.
The Late Late Show Brendan Grace Special will air this Friday at 9.35pm on RTÉ One.
