It seems like the infamous Mattress Mick ads have inspired businessmen across the nation, as the latest odd video to emerge from our green isle features a Sligo man dressed as William Wallace, riding the city streets on horseback. Shirtless.

Yep, you read that right.

Local clothes shop owner EJ Wallace is making headlines with his unusual way to promote the half-price sale in his store, EJ Menswear. 

Local man EJ isn’t a stranger to pushing the boundaries of promotion techniques either, as you may have seen a previous video of his where he impersonated Conor McGregor.

Let’s just hope his risk of getting frostbit pays off!
