Piers Morgan is well-known for being “anti-snowflake” so viewers were surprised to see him storm off set this morning after being challenged on his views.

After the Meghan Markle interview that aired last night, Piers Morgan and the Good Morning Britain team fronted wall-to-wall fallout coverage and there was one point where it all got a bit much for the presenter. During a frank discussion with colleague and weatherman Alex Beresford, Morgan decided he had had enough, saying “I’m done with this” as he got up and left.

A comment about Meghan cutting communication with Morgan off appears to have been the straw that broke the camel’s back and you can watch the moment he walked off set below…

Meghan and Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey is splashed all over the UK front pages today, with the Daily Mail dedicating 25 pages to the story. The chat aired on RTÉ last night and featured accusations of a racist comment by one member of the Royal Family as well as details on how Meghan was silenced by the institution.
