The trailer for Finding Jack Charlton has been released and even though it’s only two minutes long, it’s enough to have you counting the days until the film’s release.
Finding Jack Charlton is directed by Gabriel Clarke, whose credentials include the brilliant Bobby Robson: More Than A Manager (available to watch on Netflix), and judging by the trailer, some of the footage gathered is incredible.
All of Jack’s greatest achievements are covered, including his World Cup win as a player with England and his exploits as he won the hearts of a nation in his role as Ireland manager. Contributions come from Jack’s family as well as major figures in football, music, film and politics.
Of course, conquering the world of football is just part of Jack’s story and his battle with dementia in his later years makes up a large part of the film. Tributes have continued to pour in for Jack since he sadly passed away in July at the age of 85 and Finding Jack Charlton will be the perfect way for all us of to raise a glass for the great man over the coming months.
The film will be available to watch in cinemas (more details to follow) as well as on DVD, Blu-ray and digital from November. As well as that, Virgin Media have confirmed that they will also be screening the film…
