Who'd have thought an innocent game of Countdown would lead to these kind of scenes on morning telly?
Ireland AM is usually a safe haven for people who want to enjoy their breakfast in front of some harmless, wholesome TV. However, on this morning's episode, things took quite an unexpected turn.
During a game of Countdown in which Alan Hughes took on the Carol Vorderman role, it soon became evident that the letters he was choosing were going to make up a word that nobody wants to see when they're eating their Coco Pops.
First came the 'C,' followed quickly by a 'U,' leaving everyone present in a fit of giggles and praying that the 'N' and the 'T' were somewhere near the bottom of the pile. As Laura Woods and the remote duo of Tommy Bowe and Karen Koster tried to stifle their laughs, Alan ended up sticking up an 'M' which wasn't much better.

That's live television for ya. At least it didn't happen over on Home School Hub.
