Celebrating March 17th as best they know how, Hozier and Róisín O teamed up for a very patriotic TikTok duet and it’s made us fierce proud to be Irish.
Paddy’s Day was yesterday which means that our Irish pride is at an all-time high at the moment. Wearing our heritage like a shiny badge of honour (or a bright green brunch of shamrocks), we’re always happy to blather on about the Emerald Isle – all the more so in the days preceding and following our national holiday.
Giving us yet another reason to be bródúil of our little country, Rósín O blessed us all with a clip of herself and Hozier duetting an old folk song – about how great whiskey is, no less.
First posting the clip on TikTok, Róisín later reshared it to Instagram, wishing everyone a happy Paddy’s Day in the process.

Also sharing to his own account, Hozier said what all of us were thinking – writing: “This is amazing @roisinomusic you legend.”
Maybe if we ask nicely, they’ll consider giving us the full version… so, pretty please?!
