Customer service is really important.

And if you've ever worked in retail then you'll know how much of an emphasis is put on it.

It's not optional. It's your job.

And yeah, sure, sometimes when out shopping you just wanna do your thang and be left alone instead of pestered by the sales people. But just remember, when that shop assistant smiles and welcomes you warmly to the store, smile back – they're only doing their job, they're not reaching for your wallet. Be sound and don't go running for the hills.
