We all have a bit of a renewed grĂ¡ for An Post these days, and understandably so. Our postal workers have been playing an absolute blinder – between getting all our bits delivered during the festive Christmas rush and keeping us all connected while staying apart, we’ve much to thank our local postmen and women for. And just when we think we couldn’t love An Post anymore, local Cork woman Tara (or Tar Marz as she’s more commonly known online) hit us right in the feels with her latest TikTok. Capturing the friendship between her local postman and a neighbour’s dog, the video details how the duo spends every lunchtime playing fetch together. “Everyday our postman spends his lunchbreak throwing the ball for a dog. The dog isn’t his. The dog isn’t even from here. “He’s from a different area a 10 min walk away – but when the postman is done in that area, the dog follows the postman’s van all the way here and they do this routine most days. “Occasionally, somebody else delivers the post but he recognizes and follows the van here anyway – only to be disappointed that it’s not his ball throwing buddy.”Our poor hearts can’t take it.
