Eurovision 2021 gets underway tonight and after missing it altogether last year, the excitement of fans for the annual event seems to be higher than ever.

Representing Ireland at Eurovision 2021 will be Dubliner Lesley Roy, who was due to take to the stage last year before the event was cancelled due to the pandemic. However, her second chance at glory begins this evening when she takes to the Rotterdam stage for the first semi-final. What time is the first Eurovision semi-final?

The first semi-final gets underway at 8pm. There will be sixteen performers tonight and Lesley number seven on the list, so we can expect to see her in or around the hour mark.

How can I watch it?

It will televised live from Rotterdam on RTÉ 2.
